The ROAMS class of 2022 is proud to present the first (and hopefully not last) showcase of The Out Trip. A presentation of the young, brilliant minds of tenth-grade students who will take everything that they've learned in the past four and a half months to create one final project in hopes of helping our community prosper for the generations to come as well as for our own knowledge.
During the first couple of months spent in ROAMS, we learned a lot about stewardship and what it means, not only in the environment but also in a classroom filled with the same people that we’ve seen every day for the past five months. In our environment, it is vital that everything plays its part and makes an effort to contribute just as much as everything else. The environment would fall apart if the pollinators stopped pollinating or the predators stopped preying. It’s the same with our community, if we didn’t take care of each other and take the responsibility upon ourselves to create a brighter place to live in, day after day it would fall into a cycle of malfunction and flaws. It is our goal that as young students with vast perspectives of the world and the definition of healthy community we set strong examples for the generations to come. It is vital that we start to make a change, something as simple as planting a seed or painting a mural. We need to embrace this opportunity we’ve been given to participate in this movement and do our best to make a difference and inspire dozens of generations to do the same. We look forward to seeing you there! Showcases start at 7:15.
